Our community standards for trust and safety

Our Community Values

Lama Sparsha Foundation is built on trust, respect, and mutual support. All members are expected to uphold these values and contribute to a safe, welcoming community.

Members Must:

  • Be respectful and honest — Treat all members, staff, and volunteers with dignity and respect.
  • No scams, fraud, or false claims — Provide accurate information and do not attempt to deceive the community.
  • No harassment or discrimination — Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.
  • No misuse of emergency funds — Emergency support is for genuine hardship only. False claims harm others in need.
  • No threats or intimidation — Any form of threatening behavior towards members or staff is not tolerated.
  • Follow community rules — Respect the policies, guidelines, and decisions of the foundation.

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Submitting false or misleading information in membership applications
  • Filing fraudulent emergency fund requests
  • Harassment of any community member, staff, or volunteer
  • Discrimination or hate speech of any kind
  • Sharing confidential member information
  • Using foundation resources for illegal activities
  • Impersonating foundation staff or officials
  • Spamming or soliciting members for personal gain

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in progressive disciplinary action:

  1. Warning — First-time minor violations may result in a written warning.
  2. Suspension — Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary suspension of membership and access to services.
  3. Permanent Ban — Severe violations or continued misconduct will result in permanent removal from the community.

All reports will be treated confidentially and reviewed by our compliance team.
